• January 1st – New Year
• January 6th – Baptism, or the Holiday of the Magi
• March 25th – Greek Independence Day (Anniversary of the National Liberation Revolution of 1821)
• April 1st – The Day of Greek Cypriots
• Good Friday
• Easter
• May 1st – Labour Day
• Kataklismos – The Christ’s Baptisism
• August 15th – Dormition of Our Lady
• October 1st – Independence Day
• October 28th – National Holiday of Greece (the day of Ochi) celebrated by Cypriots as well
• December, 25th – 26th – Christmas

All of the State institutions in Cyprus are closed during the holidays! Most of the banks, private companies and shops do not operate either.
