- January 6th – Baptism, or the Holiday of the Magi
- March 25th – Greek Independence Day (Anniversary of the National Liberation Revolution of 1821)
- April 1st – The Day of Greek Cypriots
- Good Friday
- Easter
- May 1st – Labour Day
- Kataklismos – The Christ’s Baptisism
- August 15th – Dormition of Our Lady
- October 1st – Independence Day
- October 28th – National Holiday of Greece (the day of Ochi) celebrated by Cypriots as well
- December, 25th – 26th – Christmas
All of the State institutions in Cyprus are closed during the holidays! Most of the banks, private companies and shops do not operate either.
